The Little Caesars main office headquarters is a playful office environment as well as a museum of history. My major role on this 3 year long project was proofing and managing 3 Little Caesar’s Graphic Designers graphic files, keeping the colors, type, and overall pizza! pizza! vibe cohesive throughout the office. While designing for a few elements of the office, I learned a little bit more about the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings- a bonus free history lesson while being able to work on this corporate office environment! 3 pantone colors

With the Creative Director’s Design Intent as a guide, I designed many graphic elements of this exhibit, as well as executing all files to print and produce. Working closely with the Museum Curator, I typeset and layed out copy for all Car IDs, Reader Rail, Posters, Photo Backdrops and many other graphics for this refresher of a Museum “Car-lift”!

The challenge with Covid was that there were less hands to do the work. For this museum project, it was all hands on deck, wherein I not only proofed and produced graphics using a new proofing software to work more efficiently; but I also received install experience- learning new skills valuable to the trade. The new proofing program was a tool used to go back and forth with the design agency, increasing communication when zoom meetings were increasingly becoming the norm.
The install not only gave me experience in understanding the challenges of being on site with graphics, like the timing of moving NASA equipment and brainstorming literal workarounds. It also helped me to understand the scope of a large scale project, and the repercussions of bad dimensions on a curved wall, or knowing that paint needs to be a certain grade before mural application. It was a gift to be able to see an exhibit from the beginning of its design phases all the way to the very last day of install.
